Yelley Art

My Name is Danielle “Yelley” Rauto, and I try to make pretty things. I live happily in southern California, with my amazing family - my husband/partner in crime Ron Rauto and my trusty sidekick, my 3 years old daughter Ellis Veda. Together we’re carving out our own path in the world, traveling, creating, and being grateful for every moment.

I’m an explorer and an adventurer at heart - with a thirst for knowledge. Since I was a small girl I’ve known that I would grow up to be an artist, but my love for science and nature runs deep and I’m greatly influenced by the cosmos, the environment, and anthropology. In my free time, I enjoy diving into craft projects, reading, gardening and collecting artifacts from everywhere I go.

Professionally, my design career started a few years before I graduated art school at San Diego State University in 2005 (studio arts) when I began doing marketing for art events and illustrating graphics for apparel. Over the years I have exhibited my fine art and illustrations in galleries from San Diego to Seattle, and have assisted in the design and installation of dozens more exhibits.

I currently run an online art boutique Veda Art + Objects where I promote and distribute art for fellow artists, and have an ETSY Store where my original paintings and recent crafts can be purchased.
